Education
Two decades of enormous state investment through the Double First Class programme have moved Chinese universities up the world rankings faster than any others. Engineering, medicine taught in English, and business are the strengths. The Chinese Government Scholarship and the provincial schemes frequently cover tuition, accommodation and a monthly stipend in full, which is why the real cost is often far below the published fee.
Living there
Fast-moving, cashless and safe, with everything from rent to street food handled through a phone. Mandarin is needed off campus, though English-taught degrees are widespread and universities teach Chinese alongside. Tuition and living costs are far below Europe, and scholarships for Indian students are extensive.
Work rights
Permitted only with written approval from the university and the exit–entry authority
After the course
Graduates may apply to switch to a work or private-affairs residence permit
Processing time
4–8 weeks (X1 visa + residence permit)

The universities we currently work with in China. This is a first pass: names, locations and courses are confirmed, but tuition, admission cycles and the visa process haven’t been independently verified for China yet the way they have for our other live countries.
