Study in Malta

Education

English is an official language, so degrees are taught, examined and administered in English with no language barrier at all. Tourism and hospitality, maritime law, financial services and gaming technology are the national strengths, reflecting the economy around them. The University of Malta is state-funded, and the Ministry for Education recognises foreign qualifications through MQRIC, which is the step that decides admission.

Living there

English is an official language alongside Maltese, so there is no language barrier at all — a large part of why Indian students choose it. The islands are small, walkable and safe, with a strong tourism and financial services economy. It is in the Schengen area and the EU.
